An organization long beloved for service to the community is going a step further this fall—now offering scholarships for children to all City of Davis recreational programs.
Meeting Davis families where they are, the Davis Odd Fellows have expanded their never-ending (we’re serious) Encampment Scholarship Program. New this year, families can now apply for scholarships to participate in the Davis Children’s Nutcracker, Fall Trekkers, Horse Riding, Garden Club, and so much more.
Odd Fellows scholarships provide up to $200 for children ages 1—17 to attend any City of Davis Parks and Recreation program. These scholarships are need-based for families who are not financially able to afford the cost of these programs.
Wondering how many scholarships there are? We were too, so we asked.
“Money pretty much ongoing. We’ve never run out.“
You can view the full list of programs offered by the City of Davis Parks and Community Service “Rec Guide” website by scanning the QR code on this page.
Fill out and submit the Scholarship Application on the Davis Odd Fellows website davislodge.org. After notification from the Encampment of a scholarship award, the family must sign up for the activity online through City of Davis Parks and Rec or by calling City of Davis Parks and Rec at 530-757-5626.
