Free Youth Art Studio Programs for Teens

YoloArts has announced a new Youth Arts Studio (YAS) Program for high school students, which features sessions on analog and digital photography, poetry, mixed media, and mural making.

The six, four-week long sessions will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays, from 3:30p—5:30p at the Gibson House and Property.

The 2023-24 Youth Arts Studio Program seeks to promote arts education extracurricular opportunities geared toward high school students of all skill levels, and visual, performing, and literary arts forms.

This program is partially funded by the California Arts Council Creative Youth Development grant. Through the generosity of this grant, students enrolled in Cache Creek High School, Cesar Chavez Community School, Pioneer High School and Woodland High School are eligible to receive a full scholarship.

Students enrolled in Yolo County high schools and surrounding counties may register for any open session.
