DESCRIPTION:Join PBS KVIE for Be My Neighbor Day on Saturday\, April 11\, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Be My Neighbor Day is a free family event that builds on the values and themes presented in Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood and focuses on early learning and the importance of being a caring neighbor. \n  \nReturning for its second year\, the event will feature hands-on activities that celebrate community. Attendees can enjoy Daniel Tiger-themed crafts\, write thank-you letters to community helpers\, and get up close with first responder vehicles – collecting stamps from around the event to win PBS KIDS prizes. Guests will also have a chance to meet Daniel Tiger from PBS KIDS’ Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood! \n  \nRegistration\, which is free but required\, opens on March 5.
