Going to a Concert workshop

WATERMELON MUSIC. This community workshop provides an introduction to the art of attending live music performances, with a focus on classical concerts. The content includes discussions on symphonic form and movements, and an in-depth look at the composers and pieces featured in the performance. The workshop culminates in a live concert experience, allowing participants to apply their knowledge in a real-world setting. For children and adults. 4p—5p. $200 members | $250 nonmembers (includes concert ticket)

Art in Action: Fanciful Fairy Houses

PENCE GALLERY. Create your own magical fairy hideaway using a variety of decorative and natural materials, including tree trunk slices, moss, acorns, wooden mushrooms, flowers, and more. This is a drop-in program, for ages 5-12, with no registration required. Space and supplies are limited to the first 25 participants per session and are available on a first come, first served basis. 12p—4:30p. $5-$10

Healing Arts One-Time Workshop

PENCE GALLERY. Part of the Pence’s Healing Arts Program and run by facilitator Amy Vidra, this one-time, 90-minute art workshop focuses more broadly on a theme related to depression, anxiety, or major life changes. Through the process of art making, participants will have opportunities for discussion, education, and connecting with peers in a safe and supportive space.2p—3:30p. $5 members, $10 non-members

Fundamentals of Watercolor Painting with Misuk Goltz (6-Sessions)

PENCE GALLERY. Led by watercolor artist Misuk Goltz, this 6-week workshop will help you to understand these important aspects to produce a good painting and develop a toolbox that you can use to continue to consistently practice. This class is recommended for those who have some experience drawing and painting watercolors but are feeling stuck and want to progress to the next level. 10a—12p. $180 Members | $190 Non-Members

Musical Theatre Dance Workshop 2: “Ever After” from “Into the Woods”
