The Oct. 8 online program will include short presentations, entertainment, activities, and raffle prizes. The in-person event on Oct. 9 will take place outdoors, with snacks and fun activities for guests.

Planting and Weeding at City of Davis South Fork Preserve
Volunteers will be planting native California plants and weeding non-native invasive species along the trail system within the South Fork Preserve. Native plants improve water quality, provide habitat for birds, small mammals and beneficial insects, and help prevent soil erosion. Register at putahcreekcouncil.org/calendar.
