Virtual Concert with Misner & Smith at The Melon Ball

Watermelon Music is thrilled to announce an upcoming virtual concert featuring the acclaimed duo Misner & Smith. Sam Misner & Megan Smith were scheduled to perform at Watermelon Music’s The Melon Ball on Friday, March 13, 2020 right as COVID measures went into effect and was the first of many shows that we (and they) had to cancel or postpone. On Sunday, March 14, 2021, (a year and a day later), we were able to record an audience-less Misner & Smith performance in The Melon Ball and are excited to present it to the public now.
Featuring nearly an hour of songs – some new, some familiar – recorded live with multiple cameras and microphones, the resulting footage is a great representation of what we love about the duo. Their tight harmonies and carefully crafted accompaniments flesh out beautiful stories in song. “Tickets” to the event consist of a link to the concert on YouTube, which will premier on Thursday, April 22 at 7:00PM and remain live through Sunday, April 25. While you are free to share the link with family and friends, we would encourage people to purchase additional tickets if they’re able, as the proceeds will go to Misner & Smith, whose concert and festival performances have been curtailed for the last 12 months.
Tickets are $20.00 and available at Watermelon Music or through our website at watermelonmusic.com. Anyone who purchased a ticket to the 03/13/20 show should receive an email with a link to the new show.
