UC Davis’ Creative Writing Series: Reading by Claudia Rankine

UC Davis’ English department’s Creative Writing Series is expanding beyond just visiting writers to include our own graduate students, faculty, and their interdisciplinary collaborations that explore the intersection of writing, music and art.
Nov. 4: The Creative Writing Program, the Department of Religious Studies, and the Jan Shrem and Maria Manetti Shrem Museum of Art present poet and MacArthur “Genius” Fellow Claudia Rankine. She will be speaking about her new book “Just Us: An American Conversation,” which explores race relations using poetry, visual art and incisive analysis.
