The Pence Archives Online Auction

ONLINE. WEBSITE: bit.ly/pencearchivesale. For the first time, we will share gifted items from our Archives, such as paintings, prints, and decorative objects by both well-known artists and unknown makers. These items have come to us from various sources, mainly from our Treasure Sale or our Art Auction. All proceeds from this fundraiser will directly support the gallery’s exhibits, programs, and operational costs, which have gone up tremendously in the past year. Bidding opens online February 8 at midnight and closes March 2 at 5 PM PST through bit.ly/pencearchivesale. It’s free to bid, and easy to register. Please note that these works of art are not on public display at the Pence. You can arrange an in-person viewing, however, by making an appointment with the Director, Natalie Nelson, by calling 530-758-3370. Featured artists include Peter Voulkos, Maija Peeples-Bright, and Roy De Forest, among others, and we can’t wait to share them!
