Make & Take: Ikebana Japanese Flower Arrangement

PEREGRINE SCHOOL, SOUTH. Participants will learn the basics of flower arranging in the Sogetsu style of Ikebana, whose motto is “Anytime, anywhere, by anyone.” Using a variety of containers and materials, we’ll learn the basic ratios of arranging to make them beautiful every time, as well as some techniques to make flower arrangements last longer. WHAT TO BRING (OPTIONAL): Bring your favorite flowers from your own garden or a special container from home to arrange with. 3:45p – 5:15p. $25.
