Berryessa Peak Trail Maintenance

November 6, 2021 @ 9:00 am

This event is tentative and we may cancel if Tuleyome is unable to secure funds.

Berryessa Peak Trail, one of the signature trails in Berryessa Snow Mountain National Monument, requires some attention after last year’s fire. Tuleyome is hosting a work day – with a possible overnight – to help maintain the trail. Work will consist mostly of tread work and fixing small landslides as well as brushing/clearing downed branches and trees as needed. Only those who are physically fit should register, as this is a difficult trail.

Tuleyome Board member, Andrew Fulks, lead the work day and is willing to make this an overnight work day to increase the amount of work accomplished. Participants are responsible for their own food, water, and camping equipment. Tuleyome will provide the necessary tools. We recommend long sleeves, pants, and sturdy shoes or hiking boots. Please see the COVID-19 guidelines below to ensure everyone’s safety. We may cancel this event due to health and safety guidelines.

Questions? Contact Nate Lillge at nlillge@tuleyome.org.

Note: All participants agree to abide by the terms and conditions of Tuleyome’s waiver of liability which can be seen and downloaded HERE. All participants also understand that photographs will be taken at the event. If you do not wish to be photographed, you must tell the photographer and avoid the cameras’ line of sight.

A $10 donation to Tuleyome is requested, but is not required to participate in this event.
