The City of Davis Parks and Community Services Department invites college students and teens (ages 13 and older) to participate in the 2025 Photo Contest.
The contest’s theme, “Community Connections,” calls for images that showcase what makes Davis parks special to residents and visitors. All submissions must feature a City of Davis park to be eligible for consideration. Participants will have the opportunity to win prizes, be featured in the Fall RecGuide and have their photos displayed in City Hall and the Veterans Memorial Center beginning June 2, 2025, following the winner announcements.
The contest encourages creative representations of the City of Davis parks and highlights the department’s mission to foster community connections through recreational programs, public spaces and leisure activities. Submissions for the contest will be accepted until May 2, 2025, at 11:59 p.m. The winners will be announced at the Recreation and Park Commission Meeting on May 21, 2025.
The cost for submission of up to three photos is free for teens and $5 for college students. To register, visit the City of Davis Parks and Community Services website Teens and Special Interest Classes pages at: https://www.cityofdavis.org/city-hall/parks-and-community-services.
